Why wouldn't I just do it myself?

This is the question we get asked the most.

Time and time again we hear stories of people overpaying $50k, $100k up to $300k to secure a property. Having someone represent your interests will prevent you from overpaying. To find a great deal or … the best deal in a market takes time. We leave no stone unturned, leveraging all our connections and relationships to find you the right property.

How much does it cost?

We charge a flat fee based on your criteria.

Once we understand what you are looking for we can provide you with a total fee.

You will pay an initial engagement fee, with the remaining due at settlement.

At Shire Property Scout we always prided ourselves in getting most, if not all of our fee back for our clients in a discount on the property.

What do I need to have ready to engage SPS?

We’re available at any stage of the buying process.

However, if you need to act quickly then we recommend getting in touch as early as possible.

How long does it take?

Our aim as your buyers agent is to speed up the purchasing process.

Every buyer and every property is different. Once we understand what you are looking for we can provide you with an estimated timeframe. In the past, we have been able to secure properties within days of being engaged by a client and on other occasions, months.

How involved will you be in the process?

We find that most of our clients are time poor and prefer to leave it to us. However each client and situation is different so if you prefer more communication during the process we’re available at any point along the way.

On average, you’ll receive updates 3-4 times per week, then when we are close to securing a property it will be multiple times per day.
